Immunity boosting syrup Ginger ~ Lemon ~ Honey

Natural Flu Remedy


An immunity boosting syrup with lemon, honey and ginger root . This simple homemade cold and flu remedy can be stored in the fridge for to two months.

  Ingredients

  • 2 lemons thoroughly cleaned
  • 2 piece of fresh ginger
  • Raw honey
  • Jar

       

Lemon:  High in vitamin C, which keeps the immune system strong. 

Ginger: Therapeutic benefits of the ginger root come from gingerol, the oily resin from the root. It acts as antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. It has been used to help fight the flu and common cold. 

Honey: A variety of antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. It  helps reduce cold symptoms.

 Instructions

1.Slice lemons and ginger.
2.Place the lemon and ginger slices in the jar.
3. Pour honey over the lemon and ginger.
4. Keep it in the fridge and use it after 12 hours.
5. Add 2-3 tablespoons into a mug full of hot water.
6. Allow to steep for 3-4 minute.
